Week 4- Winter Carnival

We are in the final stretch of Winter Kids Winter Games!  

We are currently tied for first thanks to our awesome Family Photo submission!

UPDATE:

What a successful Winter Carnival!  We were fortunate to have three "booths" set up for students to enjoy after the highly anticipated Olympic events.

Mrs. Pam Smith, JBHS Nutrition teacher brought 2 students down to help serve hot cocoa.  Parent volunteer, Sarah Robinson, prepared peppers & carrots with dip to represent our "torches"

The Jonesport Coast Guard Station came to have students practice throwing out a line to "save" people.  Only one 8th grader made the rope go into the canister!

After we thanked our local Hannaford for supporting Winter Kids, Winter Games, Assistant Manager, Matt Johnson manned the Hannaford Snack Pals Valentine Shack!

Winners of the Olympic events will be awarded their medals at our closing ceremony.
